BRAD BAUER - OWNER
I grew up with hunting and fishing in my blood. The Bauers and Cadwells have been pursuing the great outdoors together for three generations. My dad Jim, and Chads grandfather Bernard aka "RED" chased ducks, geese and pheasants back in the 50”s. A lifelong South Dakota resident except for 6 years in Montana attending college and doing recreational activites, Skiing, fly fishing and hunting! I have early memories as a 5 year old tagging along with my dad and his friends duck hunting on Red Lake. A premium water fowling hotspot at the time with the chance to catch Blue Gills. I spend as much time outdoors as possible chasing walleyes, pike and panfish as well as anything that you can hunt with a shotgun or rifle. I enjoy reloading, photography, target shooting and archery.
CHAD CADWELL -Guide/Outfitter
My name is Chad Cadwell and I am a passionate outdoorsman. Born and raised in South Dakota, I have been blessed by abundant opportunities to take advantage of South Dakota’s magnificent landscape and plethora of game species, both personally and professionally. You may say I came by my love of bird hunting naturally, since my Mom went into labor with me while hunting ducks with my father. As a college student at the University of South Dakota, I started a small kayak outfitter on the Missouri River with a close friend. During those wonderful 10 years, I had the opportunity to share South Dakota’s pristine landscapes and hospitality with thousands of people. We are excited to, once again share our love for sporting adventures and the beautiful state of South Dakota with friends both new and old. Born and raised in South Dakota! Im a father to three young kids who I plan to share my love for hunting and our beautiful state. My Dad got me hooked on hunting at the young age of 9! I graduated from SDSU with a degree in Arch. Construction Engineering Technology and work as a Mechanical Engineer. I also have a love for designing custom homes so I started a company in 2004 and still design clients dream homes today! I’ve always been the entrepreneurial type so I started SD BIG Bucks on Facebook in 2014 as a place to showcase SD Bucks! With over 20,000 followers and likes the idea has totally exceeded my expectations. I make logo apparel, tumblers and coolers, and have met lots of great people across the state taht allow me to hunt. BIG Bonus!
