South Dakota Ranch Experience – coming soon:

Join us for a 1, 2, or 3-day South Dakota Ranch Experience customized to your preference, budget, and grit.

Cherry Creek Cattle Ranch Experience:

Learn more about the rugged South Dakota ranch lifestyle and experience first-hand where our food comes from. The days can be as busy or as lazy as you want them to be. Ranching on the South Dakota Prairie is tough, but the generational families doing the work are tough enough. Experience the life that is often glamorized and always respected on this 2- or 3-day adventure on Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal lands. You will stay in the ranch house and eat with this awesome ranch and rodeo family.  Join in on the work or watch from afar as they gather, feed and milk cows, tack horses, feed goats and bulls, check and care for babies, and train for high school rodeo. Heck, you may even walk away a little bit ranchy. Groups of 2 to 4 are best but arrangements can be made for larger groups.

  • $425/day/person all inclusive

Badlands Guest Ranch Experience:

Rest easy in a variety of gorgeous guest ranch accommodations near Badlands National Park. You will eat like royalty while learning more about how our food is tended to and cared for before ending up on your grocer’s shelves. There is lots of hiking, birding, fishing, stargazing and sightseeing to do with plenty of free time during your stay. We can even invite a Lakota interpretive guide to join you for part of your time at the Guest Ranch. This a mild tamer glimpse at the South Dakota Badlands ranch life in down home comfort that can be customized to your preference. Groups of 1-20 are welcome. This experience is fully customizable, and prices vary.

  • Prices start at $200/day/person for double occupancy and go up from there.
